I Feel Young Again

I’ve worked hard over the last 10 months, I’ve achieved a lot and you have been a huge part of that. Interesting thing is that I had a bit of a breakthrough during Saturday’s workout. During the initial warm-up routine we started with some skipping which immediately transitioned into a run to the building and back.

You indicated that we were to race during the run. My training partner took off, then I immediately bolted out after him. It was during the sprint that, for the first time in over twenty years, I felt strong and fast.

I’m 48 years old, and during that sprint I felt like I was in my 20’s again, chasing down a receiver and getting ready to crank out a huge tackle!
