Sunday Round Up – October 1, 2017

sundayroundup

Welcome to this week’s edition of the Sunday Round Up where I share a variety of posts from the web related to health, wellness, fitness and more! In this week’s edition I’ve got some great stuff for you, so check out whichever links you want and share amongst your friends and family if you see something you like.

Chris Kresser is one of my go-to resources for health matters because he is a master at identifying the root cause of issues, and explaining the research in practical terms. Check out this article he has about Histamine Intolerance and how it could be a Mast Cell Activation Disorder.

I practice yoga and love many aspects of the culture, the practice and the health benefits however, just like many other things in life, there’s always a segment of the population who simply live in their own world. The ‘woo-woo’ stuff is what keeps many people away from the benefits of Yoga, so perhaps this article by Janine Zeitlin will help you. It’s called Yoga Needs To Cut The Bullshit!

Looking to improve your ability to think clearly, feel good and remember important tasks? Check out this article by Dai Manuel that shares 6 Exercises That Will Boost Your Brain.

Do you know the difference between Praise and Affirmation? How does it impact the people we interact with and how can you use Affirmation to empower others? If this is something you would like to explore, check out Stephen Rollnick’s Article on the topic.

Check out this delicious looking Lamb Kofta recipe from the ladies at Lunges and Lycra. They have a cool site that is dedicated to women who like to sweat, enjoy fitness and the odd nip of gin:) I think you will like them!!

I first learned about Kyle Maynard about 8 years ago when he entered the Crossfit scene and I loved watching him. Check out this 3 minute video and you will know why!!

Interested in journalling but don’t know what to do? Check out this short blog post by Emma from Stay Messy and you can follow her template for 30 days of journalling. It’s got great questions to prompt you each day as you sit with your journal.

That’s all for this week’s round up! I hope you enjoy the posts and if you have any questions or comments, I’d love to hear from you so feel free to comment below!!

Until next time,

Karl:)
