The practice of tracking and celebrating our small wins boost our sense of confidence and activates the reward circuitry in our brains. This gives us the feeling of achievement and pride, not to mention setting us up for more success in the future.
Think of a child as they learn to ride a bike. Each time the show small improvement such as staying upright for 5 seconds vs. 3 seconds, they gain the confidence and excitement to try it again.
